I wish I could draw.

Your perception is amazing. You see the beauty in details, and the fault in every little inch of the entire form. You use your shapes, colors, feelings to express what you feel. My words can only take a person so far.

I wish I could see.

Your eyes are trained and clear. You could spot a single drop of rain and take it down to the center of its being. My eyes are worse every day- everything starts to blur and fade without ever giving me a chance to look inside.

I wish I could be serious.

When you're serious about something, you could make anyone see it. When I'm serious about something, I trip over my words and get frustrated, tired, irritable. You are patient, and I am not.

I wish I was strong.

I can't run like you can. I can't jump around and be nimble and beautiful and have steady hands. I'm so weak I tremble when I even try to remain still.

I wish I was clean.

Everything that passes through my mind is contaminated and distorted by my view of the world. You look at the world and say, this has potential. It's no good, but it has potential. And you make it so.

I wish I could draw.

But when you cry, the ink melts away.
